Composite Adapter S-video To Composite Adapter?

S-video to composite adapter? - composite adapter

I have an adapter that converts a composite of my home theater on a signal S-video on my projector. There are small lines that I am on the screen that does not exist when the connector is not used to see, but I have to configure the port to USDE my setup. Please let me know if there any way to avoid these distortions.
